Those are small kids.

That said, he also should stop using them as props, IMHO. But, really, the cartoon was ridiculous.

As for Jeff, I don't see what political correctness has anything to do with this.

What don't you understand? It isn't PC to use children to score political points. Republicans rant constantly about being against PC culture. You can't cherry-pick what you're PC about without it undermining your objection to being PC. Face it. Everyone want PC culture when it comes to their own identity group or interests. Jeff was pointing out RepublicN hypocrisy.

Is this how the left is now spinning this? That conservatives are too stupid to understand the subtleties? The PP above detailed out just why it was so offensive, i.e. the cartoonist is implying that Cruz has so little affection for his kids, that he's using them only to win an election, like Hillary uses the press and corporate leaders to win.

It was the entire left that fell for Harry Reid's admitted lies about Romney, and fell for Obama's and Gruber's lies about Obamacare.

I think we already know the gullible side.

If you're anti-PC you can't cherry pick what you're PC about. Tell it like it is and forgo all standards of decency. That's what I hear coming from the right. Right?

Is this why you think it was offensive? Because that's exactly the justification for running the cartoon. The only reason not to run the cartoon is if you think it was commentary on the kids themselves, not how Cruz is treating them.

Yes, PP is offended by the wrong thing. Silly anti-PC police, defending Cruz rather than his children. Totally missing the point.

may be awful, yes

And he did whore out his own kids initially. no denying that

However, that doesn't make it "fair" for the press to do the same. Children should be off limits. So b/c a parent hits his/her kids, the entire neighborhood should feel free to do the same?

Target Cruz for his stupid moves, but leave his kids alone.

PC is one thing. Active lies meant to deliberately smear or deceive is another thing again.

First, the cartoon was making fun of you for treating your family like props. The cartoon does not ridicule your daughters.

Second, if you don't want your family to be discussed/depicted in the news, stop using them like props in your campaign. If you make them campaign for you, then you can't complain when they are a topic of discussion.

DUMB.ASS.

Children aren't off limits? So we can treat Obama's daughters that way?

If Obama used them as campaign props - which he didn't, unless you count standard issue photo ops - then sure.
