WTF? Ferring Pharmaceuticals Letter

Similar to PP. I filed mine Nov 30th. They didn't process it until Jan 23rd. Told me 4 to 6 weeks max from that date (so by around March 5th).

I filed on 12/8 and got my check a week ago. I also did IVF greenlight which I was sure would delay things further but they hit the estimate of 6-8 weeks.

I'm 9:21. I got my check today. So about 10 weeks total. It looks like they were pretty thorough. I had done IVF Greenlight and I had also returned a few unused vials after I was done with my IVF cycle and even though my receipt didn't show that they must have verified that with the pharmacy.

Dear god, for the eleventh time, you cannot sue them. The laws in this country protect big pharma. Unless you suffered actual bodily harm from using their meds, you cannot sue.

Are manufacturing defect claims preempted (for drugs, not devices)? I didn't think they were.

OP - I haven't read all the posts above but I suggest you email the letter w/ a cover note explaining your position to your state legislators and your Congressman and state Senator.

I called yesterday to check on mine, which I sent the second week of Jan. They said there was an order to cut the check and I should receive it in the next 2 weeks.

I received my letter, but there it away as I only had a non-itemized receipt from Grubbs. Now I am thinking about going down there and asking Grubbs for an itemized receipt.

Does anyone know where I can get a new copy of the letter?

You don't need the letter. Just call the number posted above once you have the receipt.

I've seen a few sites of attorneys looking for plaintiffs, but no news of actual suits (except in Canada).

I am 9:21 and 17:23 from this discussion.

I received my reimbursement check back in Feb 2016.
I just got a letter from a legal company about the Bravelle Class Action suit. The letter states that even if I received compensation for my vials I may still be eligible to recover some of my medical expenses. On the top of the letter it says "advertising material". A friend of mine now living in West Virginia received the same letter. Has anyone else gotten it?

Yes, I got the same letter. I also applied for reimbursement of the med and got a check for that. Not sure what to make of the class action lawsuit. My impression is that you pay nothing to talk to the lawyer initially, but perhaps if you want to be represented in it you need to pay them?
