Seriously?
The Democrats have a woman in her late sixties who is the likely nominee and who is distrusted by over 60% of the electorate, a 75 year old senator whose claim to fame is that he is an avowed socialist who does not even belong to the party and a governor whose track record in Maryland is nothing to brag about ............. all are white in a party that prides itself on diversity!
Is this really a slate of candidates to brag about?
News flash: MOST of them aside from Kid Rubio are in their 60s and if by "avowed socialist" you are thinking Stalin as opposed to Sweden you are clueless.
You also forgot about the fact that half of the remaining D candidates (Webb and Chafee) are Republicans who left because they are fed up and disgusted with the extremists who've ruined the Republican party and turned it into a farce.
If the Republican party had candidates with the same background as the Democrats, we'd be hearing nonstop about how they are a party of whites with no representation from any minorities. Instead, who would have thought that it would be the Republicans - the allegedly anti-minority party - that has two Hispanic Americans, an African-American and an Indian-American! What is more, is that it is these minority candidates - namely Carson, Rubio and Cruz - who are doing relatively well in the race for the nomination and their support comes mainly from whites! The white candidates - with the exception of Trump - are in the bottom tier when it comes to the polls.
