Crippling Anxiety and Panic but can't tolerate SSRIs - need advice.

Op again. I have tried magnesium in various forms and it either gave me a horribly upset stomach or gave me what felt like skipped heartbeats (another issue I have frequently). I guess I can try again. I took the magnesium chelate form.

You might wish to try Natural Calm, a magnesium powder available at Whole Food. You mix it with water and take before sleeping. As you seem very sensitive begin at a quarter teaspoon (hald is recommended to start with going to one) and work your way up.

Thanks. Op again. This is what I tried and it gave me terrible cramps and stomach issues (diarrheah) for almost two days. But I think I started with 1 tsp.

OP with an update. Went to a psych today who prescribed a very low dose of Klonopin for me to take at night, to break the cycle. I made the mistake of trying a low dose of Lexapro again earlier this week and it is just too stimulating for me and really ramped up my anxiety along with irritability, agitation and anger. Ugh

I wish I could just take a SSRI like everyone else. If Lexapro is too stimulating for me, I don't think any SSRIs will work.

I can't believe these plugs for Dr. Laura Primakoff. I really can't. When I saw her she was extremely pro-drug and really poor at A) empathy and B) professionalism. I got way worse under her "care." I'm suspicious, therefore, about these raving plugs, which, incidentally, include her phone number, location, and payment information.
