Paris Sardegna in Italy (hands down the best place to go when travelling to Italy, I've been twice. The beaches are amazing) |
Nope. Not all of us. Some of us have just lived in other countries and been able to travel for a lower cost. Example: we lived in Germany, and would just drive or take the train to France or Spain. Stay for a couple of days in a vacation home, buying food in grocery stores instead of eating out. You just gotta be smart about it and know how to travel. You just have to know the main travel season (avoid) and be smart about getting cheap flights, places to stay and so on. |
| We live in Europe so that's where we vacation. Our last 3 trips were to Rome/Positano, Munich, and Belgium/Amsterdam. |
Me again - when we aren't living in Europe my answer will probably be Florida, Charlottesville, and NYC Just trying to take advantage...

| What's a vacation? We flew out last year to see a specialist for our child and stayed a few extra days. |

+1 I'm pp who went to the exotic Detroit for the same reason. Prioritizing paid time off here, too unfortunately. |
