could have followed the police officer's request that he get on the sidewalk.

Don't be so sure about that. There is video of Brown's robbing a liquor store and strong arming the clerk, and it appears that it's considered acceptable behavior. In addition, it's apparently racist to show it. The fact our Fed government is even involved, especially after the forensic evidence and other evidence has been revealed, is morally reprehensible at best, corrupt at worst.

That did not stop Holder from getting involved early-on in the Brown case.
