My son wants to apply to Stanford only. I want to encourage him, but do not think it is realistic.

| Anyone applying to one school is being foolish. There is no sure thing even if he was perfect. You are the parent, you are footing the bills I presume for the app fees, I would tell him minimum 5-6 schools and applying ED to Stanford. |
