OP here, I do hope we will get to that point some day...it doesn't have to be far but I truly believe that nature experiences can be SUCH a tremendous learning experience for the children. Let's see if our parents will be on board in a bit - so far it seems like it! |

How are you managing to only be closed 4 days a year? Not even closed on Memorial Day, Labor Day, and July 4th? |

OP here...PP got it right - dedication. We do have our vacation time every year which we can take (if we want to) but I really don't feel it's appropriate for us to close on so many holidays additionally to that. |

Hey everyone - OP here. We are looking to enroll one more full time child at Little Gnome Home and would love to get to know you and your little one!
We have been working hard the past weeks and have not only had a wonderful time with our enrolled children, but also improved our space even more. We have added proper beds to our Quiet Room, have purchased a beautiful wooden climber/slide for our playroom and have built a huge 8ft by 8ft covered sandbox in our yard. We have fixed our entrance pathway and are now sporting a proper, professionally built cement walkway! We are also working on fencing in our yard, which we plan on finishing within the next three to four weeks, depending on how fast the contractor can follow through. We also have a large wooden playset ready to go for our backyard, as soon as it is fenced in. All in all I think I can say we are improving our space on a weekly basis, are very happy with the families we have enrolled so far and would love to fill our last full time slot!
