Which is the better VA university: VA Tech or JMU?

I actually found it more surprising that Maryland and Pitt were more popular with TJ students than JMU. I guess we all see different things in these statistics.

TJ is a technology school so not a great sample unless you want to know where STEM kids go to college.

Name recognition and rankings-wise, probably Tech. But JMU has its positives, too.

They're both very solid in-state choices.


I think JMU ranks higher for Business. Tech for Engineering.
