Bullis for a DC family

We turned down a "Big 3" for Bullis. The entire package for our child was better than another school with a much bigger "name".

LOL at all the haters on this thread. If Bullis wasn't for them, that's fine. Why some people waste cycles dissing other schools that their children didn't attend is beyond me.

Dont know if it is just one person. The hate for Bullis comes from the fact that they are holding themselves out as something they are not. Kind of like Tiger Woods before he got caught.

If Bullis would come clean and say what they really are and what they stand for - there would be less hate.

They should admit they are a public school you pay for with the benefit of smaller classes and easier academics with recruited athletes that visit for the season and then leave.

I think its just that most of us cannot understand why one would pay the same rate as other schools and not get the same value.

Look at the college acceptances or lack thereof. 35K for a school that is pedestrian academically just so you can shield your DS or DD from the perils of public schools like Wooton, Churchill or Whitman.
