Really? I feel like my 320k house is much nicer.

Where do you live? Herndon?

Funny, you cannot get a nice house for $320k, even in Herndon. Fredericksburg maybe.

Does this come with some kind of guarantee. Like if my son doesn't get into Mount Holyoke, could I get my money back? I like those odds!

Best post.

Mt. Holyoke is a women's college, so if your son got in that really would be something.

Hmm, I still don't know the difference between Palisaides and Kent, but Burlieth is the neighborhood just north of Georgetown and south of Glover Park, just off Wisconsin...

Sorry, I meant Berkley, not Burleith.

No, you were right the first time; It's Burleith. No one cares. At your funeral, no one will ask: where was she from? Oh, of course, Burleith.

This is a wrong and stupid thing to say.

As they say, that might be a 'tough putt' considering that Mount Holyoke is still an all-women's college!!

Wrong. It IS Berkley. Burleith is north of Georgetown. Berkley is West of Burleith and Wesley Heights. It's above the eastern portion of Palisades.

My experience exactly.

I know, hence the good odds of a refund. Not that Mount Holyoke is easy for a daughter to get in.

That is absolutely not a McMansion. Although the interior is as boring as one.
