No one said all of them don't pay taxes. Did they? Some do, most don't. Most dont make enough to pay taxes anyway. Doesn't change a thing in the statistics above. MCPS is saturated above its means and the quality in schools, ratios, extracurriculars, has decreased in the last decade.

I do think the 14th amendment should not be. It is encouraging people to illegally come here instead of doing it the legal way like another poster mentioned. If I had my baby in France, it wouldn't be a French citizen, would it? It is completely unsafe to just let any who is anyone come live here at anytime. Countries are Countries and have closed borders for a reason. Do you think amnesty reform will discourage or encourage more illegals to come? When is enough enough? When will border patrols stop getting killed protecting our country so people like you can say - "come one, come all - forget our laws and here is some money, housing, food stamps, healthcare and education." Does everyone deserve these things? Yes but not by their own measures. We have laws for a reason. How much of your paycheck are you willing to give up before you say enough? It will only get worse. How overcrowded will the schools become? Will 35 kids be your breaking point? For me, I already hit mine. I am not a bigot. I love LEGAL diversity but illegals from any country taking advantage of us makes me sick. We can't take everybody. The national debt is too high.
