Why I am throwing out my reusable bags

If this is true, why dont we get sick more often from grocery store conveyer belts? Raw chicken fresh open veggies, all sit and ride on the same belt all day long. Sure they may spray them down, but not very often, what maybe after each shift?

wait, why cant op just throw the bags in the washer? or just fill the sink with hot water and a splash of bleach, dip the bags in, let them sit for 10 mins, take em out, wring and let dry? is this really that hard? also, what is the point of using a plastic bag and a reusable bag? I thought the point of a reusable bag was so you dont use plastic?!

There go any environmental benefits. Which were minimal to begin with.

No. But I don't put raw meat in my purse, either.

Me either. And my German host family didn't refrigerate their eggs, either. I asked why, weren't they worried about germs in the eggs like salmonella? they asked, why would we keep buying eggs form someone if we knew there was salmonella in a lot of them?
