So I guess with all the moving parts, some schools got their letters out.

So how are you supposed to know if your child is not in pool if you want to do a parent referral? There has been ZERO information on AAP sent from our school.

Just do a parent referral and be done with it. It's a one page form.

You can also complete the Parent/Guardian Questionnaire, but it is optional.

My kiddo is a sixth grader at Willow Springs in the AAP program. We've loved it!

I suppose if you don't receive an in pool letter by the day before the deadline, just submit a parent referral. Easy.

The deadline is Feb 8. Better go through the form now then.

Even if you don't get an in-pool letter, you'll get the test scores in a separate letter in the mail and will be able to tell that way.

Yes, but do we know the cut-off scores this year? The letter we got from school said that they would be published on the AAP page online, but I haven't seen anything yet.

132 NNAT or 95% on the CogAT. My kids scored a 133 on the NNAT, other twin scored a 137; the 98%tile and 99%tile, respectively. Haven't yet received the in-pool letters, but know that we are in the pool based upon their NNAT scores. If you child did not meet the 132 on the NNAT then you may be anxious. If you child already meets the NNAT number, relax and enjoy your day off.
