I exercise. I've had plenty of blowouts survive a workout and shower. You just need dry shampoo and a blowdryer/flat iron for a touch up around the framing pieces. |
| the fact that this place even exists makes me laugh. |
Me, too. everyone's hair is different. |
Meh. Having gone to Drybar in LA and NYC, I was disappointed. Maybe Bethesda will improve, but at this point the quality was not consistent. Honestly, I went to a wedding in NH last Satuday and had my hair done in a salon there and it was much better -- cuter, more stylish -- than Drybar Bethesda. |
| I had a gala to attend last nigh and went to the Bethesda location. I loved it ! In a 1/2 hour I had a shampoo and great blow out. Charge was $40 and I tipped $10. For special Ocassions, I would definitley go back. |
| Has anyone got the beach look (Mei Tei, I think)? |
Same here, because it reminds me of going with my grandmother to have her hair "done": someone washed, dried, and sprayed it for her, and there it would sit on her head for a week before anyone touched it again. |
| Call me grandma then (what the hell, I've already turned into my mother anyway). I'm there every Monday and Thursday at 8am sharp! |
|
Bump.
Any experiences with the Bethesda location? How long does the blow out last? |
| I usually end up going 3 times a month - I find the blowouts last 6 days for me (I have to put my hair half up on the 6th day or it looks a bit flat). Out of the 15 or so times I've gone, I've only had one "bad" blowout - it was fine, but the curl didn't hold and it had no volume on top, which is what I usually love about the blowout. |
Wow. I thought people only did this occasionally but I guess that makes sense. Too bad I'm not closer to Bethesda to go myself! |
