Who flies with two preschoolers? |
NP here, and you really sound like the entitled one. Assuming everyone has the means to pay for more expensive flights (and only those who do should travel) or the flexibility to leave at other times of day and then demanding explanations from the flight attendant (who is not going to have any idea at all about people's original bookings)? People like you are the ones making a mountain out of a molehill. |
How may times have you been on a plane? You don't seem to know much about how airlines operate - the flight attendant would not know how/ when/ at what rate the family booked the ticket, and whether the airline changed seats after booking. |
I do fly for business. And I do work on the plane. But I also fly for pleasure. I was being slightly tongue in cheek here in case you missed that. But really, even when I fly for business I'm not a bitch. |
You are too smart and logical for this discussion.

Are you for real? Throw a rock and you'll hit a family with two children under the age of five, it's hardly like the Duggars are on your flight. |
me neither. plus I usually pay extra for my seats.... |
| I believe the airlines reserve the right to reassing seats as they see fit. If they see fit to move you for a family with kids, suck it up. |
Sounds like you haven't figured it out yet yourself. There will be all sort of impediments to working while traveling, most of us figure out how to get through. |
Hilarious. NP but if I bought the seat then, yeah, I am entitled to that seat. Booking a cheap seat and then expecting mine? No. |
|
Whether or not I would switch depends on the attitude of the parents and on the length of the flight. I would not give up my aisle seat for a long flight.
I also would not give up my aisle seat on a short flight to parents with entitled or disrespectful attitudes. |
HAHAHAHAHA You don't have kids, do you? If you think that some "noise canceling headphones" would stop my 3 year old from pestering the shit out of you, you have no clue. |
Actually, it IS the perfect place to molest kids: http://www.sfweekly.com/2009-07-15/news/predators-are-free-to-move-about-the-cabin/ http://www.kcra.com/Mom-Teen-Molested-While-Flying-Alone/-/11798090/12679364/-/b5f557/-/index.html http://articles.cnn.com/2001-08-08/travel/northwest.molest_1_flight-attendants-flight-risk-investigators?_s=PM:TRAVEL http://digitaljournal.com/article/239593 |
| Frankly, I'm perfectly happy to sit in the middle seat of row 25 while Joe Schmo in his aisle seat on row 15 has to entertain my toddler. Go for it, buddy. |
