Maybe some people cheat in order to keep the marriage in tact for the sake of their children. For some people, they may have closet gay husband who has not wanted to sleep with them in years.... and you get the sense your DH is averting his eyes because how can anyone go without sex for years??? But for sake of kids maybe stay together in stead of separating.....

I personally think if someone is gay, they should be gay. Kids pick up on things and by the time they are adults they have internalized the basic message that you should hide who you are, that who you are is probably not good enough.

Even in this day and age, gay men are under tremendous pressure to marry and have kids. It looks better for the job and in front of his family.

Sorry, not buying it. What an incredibly selfish thing to do. There is no "pressure" to live a lie and have your wife and kids live a lie. What utter bullshit. I know tons of successful gay men and many have adopted children and have a chance at real happiness, not living a lie.
