While you can say what he did was justified -- the father did not intend to kill this predator.
He was attempting to save his child The poor man is beside himself -- he took a person's life. I cannot imagine being in his position...while I would hope i would react and use what necessary force to save my child -- i would not want to live with having taken a life..no matter how "justified" it may seem. |
Right. Is it really necessary to show up at his property and knock on his door? Tools. |
Yup, I'd dig my heels in for months if I had to. I don't care if he hunted him down 5 years later. The only good molester is a dead molester. |
Um, please don't read the stories, respond to threads on chat boards about the story, and then call the reporter a "tool" for doing his job. Seriously, if you're that worked up about it, your indignation should start with a little more self-reflection. Of course the journalist reported the story searching for the details you'd lap up in a second. |
You're off base here. The original story was printed and that's it. What those journalists were looking for was the titillating, sensational, "what no other reporter found out" details about this family. There is nothing more to report than what was originally reported. The fact that they went digging is horrible. |
Also, we should call it as it is: child RAPE. I feel like sexual abuse is too tame a term for something an adult was forcing a child to do, on top of her, both with no underwear on. |
