It doesn't matter how many spots left, you signed this contract. Try to find somebody who will take this spot. But i agree, it's crazy to sign something like that.

Thanks for this article - my friend is in a similar situation where her financial situation changed and she can no longer afford the private school tuition. She is trying to work out something with the school, knowing that the school could sue for the full amount if they can't come to an agreement.
