Has your elem. school banned 'tag'?

We live in FFX County. My 4th grader got in trouble for playing tag, but my second grader told me that they are allowed to play tag, she plays tag almost everyday during recess, her and her friend just love chasing the boys

So only the girls are allowed to play tag? The feminization of the American education system. No wonder boys are lagging behind so much.

The should have banned all poles. The pole caused the injury not tag. Or maybe they should wrap all poles in pillows.

i asked my kids over dinner and yes their school banned tag as well. but they didn't seem disappointed; they said they play a different game still running and chasing but just no tagging. i think most kids will be fine.
