"what is the purpose of so narrowly limiting the age of the baby that can be dropped off under safe haven laws? I mean, I can understand how they don't want people dropping of three year olds, but I looked online and a lot of states limit it to 7 days or so. What sense does that make? "
My thoughts exactly. I think it is a few more weeks in MD but i don't see why it is so strictly time-limited especially when there is such high demand for adopting babies anyway. |

| You know there is a special place in hell for the parents of this child. I don't care how desperate/broke/uneducated/mentally incapable they are. The poor child was bleeding from her nose because she was so cold. I mean they couldn't wrap the child in some warm clothes? If you don't want her, at least give her a chance at survival. |
