This is the 2nd poster with big law comp at or above $7M. Is that normal? Especially this example with being just 4 years into the partnership? I thought typical big law partner pay was more like $2-4M depending on billings so say $3M rolling average. |
How young is young? How are you earning so much being young? |
It’s pretty common at the top firms these days (top 10 firms average that or more in average profit per partner), but I’ve never heard a partner of only 4 years hitting that. That would be extremely unusual and I would love to know how that happened as typically it takes more years to grow your practice to have that kind of revenue generation. |
I think they may have a flexible definition of young if they bought a condo 15+ years ago with their brother, unless it was bought in undergrad or HS |
