She is REALLY pretty, though. I didn't know much about her until the recent round of publicity surrounding the show. She's beautiful, and very natural looking.

I just saw an interview with Mindy Kaling, who is someone who has succumbed to Instagram Face, and it made me really sad to watch the interview. I think people don't talk about this because the focus is on her weight loss (which does play a role in Instagram face, you can't have it if you have a round, chubby face like Kaling has naturally). Anyway it's honestly hard to watch/listen to her talk because she screwed up all her features and now she looks like Khloe Kardashian and her face moves the same way, but it's still her voice coming out of it. It's very uncanny valley.

I don't think Mindy Kaling was the most beautiful woman in Hollywood before she did this, but I vastly prefer her old face and how it looked and moved and actually matched her voice and made sense as a human face. I am glad that other funny female writers like Tina Fey and Amy Pohler haven't done this. They might be considered as "pretty" as Kaling is now, but they are more attractive to me because their faces make sense.

I just want faces to make sense.

Annette Bening and Jody Foster are both women with really striking, distinctive, beautiful faces who don't appear to have messed with them much as they've aged. The look older than many of the women mentioned on this thread, because in many cases they simply are older, but to me that is almost more impressive because they could have done what so many actresses do and stuff their faces with filler and botoxed the crap out of every corner (I am sure the both do botox at least sometimes for public appearances but it's clearly subtle and I think they avoid it when they actually film because I see no immobility in their performances). They chose to look like they look and just let it age. It's so refreshing.
