When does kids’ football stop being fun?

When the coach for a random HS wears full tracksuit and big puffer jacket embossed with his huge initials on it.

Clown needs to stop fleecing his school community. Then again, LCPS is known for being grade-A grifters

That clown won’t last long. Give him a year and he will be back “teaching” coaches again.

My buddy is asking for a refund if he gets him as the “educator”

I think this should be the conversation going forward. Is Loudoun the most corrupt county in the country, or is Loudoun the hotspot of crazy patents? These threads indicate it is one or the other? I am interested to hear your responses. Is Loudon crazy corrupt, or are the parents in need of government intervention?

For anyone not familiar with Loudoun County, it routinely ranks among the wealthiest counties in the country by median household income. This is the kind of place where student parking lots double as unofficial luxury car shows, Porsche, BMW, Tesla, and yes, there really was a kid at Lightridge High School rolling up in a McLaren like it was completely normal.

When you grow up in that environment, you get very familiar with things going your way. Then sports come along, with scoreboards, referees, and the inconvenient reality of another team, and suddenly merit matters more than money. That is a tough transition. Around here, instead of accepting that, some parents try to outmaneuver it the only way they know how, lobbying, complaining, and generally treating competition like a customer service issue that just needs to be escalated enough times.

Then there are the club scenes that make all of this even more entertaining. Clubs like Loudoun Soccer, FC Virginia, Valor Soccer, and Virginia Revolution Soccer Club all operate in the same ecosystem, where the margins between development, politics, and parental influence can get… creatively interpreted.

Yep. Wealth certainly leads to corruption and entitlement way too often, but the bad parent actors are not limited to certain income levels. They are everywhere in every sport. We just need to be better than that. Easier said than done.

Id also submit a fraudulent complaint to the better business bureau if USSF gives you that clown as “instructor”. Then again, it’s US SOCCER lol
