I’m petite 5’1 and never had someone tell me my height was an issue. I was always popular with guys.

Wipe that out your head. Can’t speak for all men, given the choice between a tall woman or a petite woman, I’d take the petite woman.

I felt the same way as OP for a *long* time. I was so insecure about my height. But, I did date guys 5'7"+, and DH is 6'2". I didn't go looking for such a tall man. 5'11" was my ideal. It just ended up this way.
