the ring is very pretty. I just have to add- I have a bracelet from lagos that I got for a big birthday and the quality is not good. I have already had it replaced twice in the last year. It has been really disappointing. I have a lagos ring from 15 years ago and it is so much better quality.

That’s really good to know. I’ve heard that about a lot of brands. I have some older David yurman bracelets and they are heavier than the newer ones.

I already have a "lock" from this designer, and I want to have them restring my pearls so I can use them together:

Looks awfully cheap.

PO who replied does not know jewelry and/or did not read the description. Probably just saw the (actual) thread and didn’t know what it was for. Marla Aaron locks are beautiful and the idea of adding that to restricted pearls is amazing - what a great way to freshen up an old necklace that’s never worn!

I’ve been trying to find a good place to buy a solid gold (14 or 18k) ring for my daughter but I’m not sure what sites to trust. Ideally, we’d like to shop in person but it seems most are online businesses. Any suggestions? TIA.

Ring Concierge is actually a good choice - I have a lot of fine jewelry and have been happy with RC pieces bought for my daughters (and a gold ring for me!).

DP. How can you be sure they’ll be real on Etsy? Do you have a preferred Etsy seller? I’m looking for solid gold rings.
