Great, I’m in. Maybe I can stop worrying about the future of my nonchalant kid with major lazy/adhd vibes |
What hope? They’ll have a roof over their heads and something to eat, some cheap entertainment as well. What’s not to like. Maybe I should even say “we”. |
The fight over healthcare subsidies is just the last throes before the change. Rn some ppl are able to pay for healthcare. Once automation puts 90% of population out of jobs it won’t be possible. Btw the current sentiment against immigration is also part of this change. It will be extremely hard to relocate and become eligible for UBI. |
Good point. If we are to ever get to the point of being able to have UBI, the unchecked immigration will have to stop by 99% at least, otherwise it would be a "gold rush" to get here for wages without working. |
I canceled all of my Subscribe & Saves because they have increased in price. I loved the convenience, but not worth the price. |

600,000 jobs by 2030
This was always the plan no one read Project 2025 All companies are heading for major layoffs. |
That's not even a drop in the bucket. Was hoping robots could do 95% of jobs, as I'd like a robot that is capable of doing a lot. |
+1 |
Currently there are no robotics capable of running all their warehouses. This is just a way for him to lie about why they are laying off. |
Then they need to get on it and get some better robots. |
