Actually I gave out ring pops one year and the kids loved them. |
Snickers. They are impossible to give away and always hang around the house in the candy bag with no one eating them. DH always wants me to keep them saying he’ll eat them. In 20 years I have never seen him eat a snickers. I used to let them sit in the candy bag for a year and then pitch them when a new batch rolled around at Halloween. |
Peanut m&ms. It's the only one on the list that neither of my kids will eat.
DC1 loves skittles and regular m&ms (plus smarties and starburst, not that you asked about those). DC2 loves snickers, skittles, sour patch kids, and ring pops. Neither will touch peanut m&ms, whoppers, or almond joy. |
Tie between snickers and peanut m&ms |
We throw them away every year. I’m sure my kids are excited to get them but they never ask for them or eat them. |
Peanut m&ms |
A few years ago I started having 3 bowls for trick-or-treaters, and told them they could choose 2 items. One bowl has chocolate candies, one bowl has nut free candies, and the third bowl has cheap trinkets in it. I have been absolutely shocked by how many kids go for the cheap trinkets. Even some of the upper elementary kids do! One year I had bags of something for toddlers (maybe Goldfish crackers?) and bigger kids chose those. A surprising number of kids will pick non candy items. |
I believe Snickers is a top seller as a stand-alone and a handout. I hate them. The only common candies I hated more were evil fraternal twins Almond Joy and Mounds. |
Don’t you dare remove snickers or peanut m&m’s. Those are my favorites and I always end up taking them from the kids. |
Are Pringles healthier than m&ms? |
