What is your travel budget and plan for 2026?

For big vacations, we usually do the Caribbean and a ski trip every year, plus somewhere in Europe most summers. We also do a lot of last-minute travel more locally.

Definitely include a visit to this place! https://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org

No real plans or budget yet, but it’s our 20th anniversary so we were thinking Europe. Dhs friends want to do a trip to Costa Rica but he gets so little vacation time so he’s not sure if he’ll go.

Also we don't budget at all. Not to say we spend insane amounts, but we just don't calculate like that. We have plenty of disposable income so we just spend as we see fit.

Don't have a budget (though funds aren't unlimited), but our plan is probably short ski trip to New England, Ocean City/Fenwick Island and the big trip is Japan and Korea.

We are a family of five.

We are doing a week in Maui for spring break. Hotel - $2K, flights are coming up $3.5K to $5K, has $3K worth of frequent flier miles we can use. Excursions, food, rental car, at least $3.5K.

Summer - 1 week beach house share with family $2-$3K.

Summer - 2 weeks in France. $15K? I haven’t done the detailed planning just yet.

Fall - $2K for a driving trip from the DMV. This year, it will be Niagara Falls. Next year, likely Philadelphia and longwood gardens.
