She did not say she “hates the country.”

She is eligible for Irish citizenship through a grandparent. Lots of people are.

I have dual citizenship and so does my husband. Is that a problem with you?

Who are you to tell anyone they should apply to get back in?

Sensitive much. She goes on tirades
on how awful the US is now and had to leave. Okay leave. This half in and half out is lame especially when you leave complaining about how awful the country is. She literally is on news programs there daily complaining about US which could be damaging to US since she is a public figure. Someone needs to tell her immigration is stricter in Ireland and also much more conservative than US. She will wear out her welcome there soon. I miss old Rosie.
She was funny and kind but just became old and mean. Hopefully she gets it together.

She’s not criticizing America. She’s criticizing the Trump administration and Trump in particular. In a free country, you’re allowed to do that. The one damaging the image of this country is Donald Trump himself. Literally every time he opens his mouth.

Republicans proving once again that they hate the Constitution.

Oh, come on. According to her, she "makes art about surviving trauma".

What does any of that have to do with the president of the United States threatening to revoke the citizenship of someone he doesn’t like?

Unfortunately what you think does not matter.

That would be a percent per pound, which is about the same as the tariff on hog meat.

Pretty sure Trump is fatter than she is.

She deserves an Oscar next to Trump's embarrassing line delivery in Home Alone 2.

Can you imagine if Barack Obama said something like this? I mean really it makes my head explode how complicit republicans are in all of this. Every single member of congress should be drafting a bill to remove this person from office but instead the republican leadership turns a blind eye. They hate democracy. Each and every one of them.

O'Donnell's qualifications for citizenship are exactly the same as Trump's.

Both born in the US

Both had one US-born parent who was the child of an immigrant, and one direct immigrant parent (O'Donnell's father was born in Ireland, Trump's mother was born in Scotland)

If Rosie O'Donnell can be stripped of her citizenship then so too can Donald Trump.

Trump, with the endorsement of his cult members, don’t distinguish between America and Trump. Trump is a dictator and whatever he says goes. His supporters don’t believe in the rule of law or the Constitution anymore.
