I blew it all up because the company got a new CEO 2 years ago and I tried like hell to make it work but I was anxious 24/7, losing sleep etc and it felt like I just couldn't do it anymore.

FWIW. I did this a few years ago. Initially relieved, then freaked out. Took a few months to figure out a way forward. Consider really changing industries. I started off with the resumes to the same industry and it just felt like I was hopping back onto the same treadmill. Really blowing things up gives you a chance to reassess how you want to spend your life. You have lots of skills that are transferable. Also highly recommend the book “4000 weeks” which really puts things into perspective. Think creatively!

It has bothered me for over a decade that this is true and no one talks about it. It is killing the work force.

Good luck finding a job. Tech roles are being filled by staffing agencies with Indians.
