I don't think we'll ever get an accurate count. A relative said their commander was given 52,000-something. I can see that being more accurate than 10k. There certainly wasn't over 100k.

There were also more people during the day watching demos and checking out equipment than who stayed for the parade.

There was an analysis posted online where someone did the math based on available photos, dimensions on the ground, estimated crowd density and so on. They came up with an estimate between 30k and 50k. I'll grant them somewhere in that vicinity.

No Kings turnout was significantly higher.

I think a significant portion of Americans are ok with a military parade. Pride parades are all the rage; why not have a military parade that recognizes military service and shows the taxpayers what DOD is spending trillions on?

Plus kids love military tanks, helicopters, airplanes, etc.

I am a Vet who served in both Armor and Infantry and enjoyed watching the parade.
