I do. I have thin buttery soft leggings from Vuori that feel like you’re not wearing anything. I’m not swimming laps or anything, but let’s be honest that neither are any of the other moms on this thread based on the recs. |
I wear board shorts and a long sleeve rash guard. Cheaper and easier than a suit, and more sun protection. |
If I saw someone in leggings on a hot day at the beach I would judge them way more than people enjoying their day in their bathing suits. Even if they aren’t in “exceptional shape at 48”…get over yourself. You’re the weird one for spending a lovely beach day judging everyone else’s bodies. |
I like a printed halter tankini because I have no boobs and a stomach that pooches, but these fabrics are horrid. Why can’t women over 50 have fresh, cute prints? Where have all the fun tankinis gone? |
I’m the PP who posted about ordering from left on Friday. Unfortunately, the bottoms were not at all flattering for me, but the tops were all really cute. I did find some surprisingly flattering swimsuits at target. Their shade to shore brand.
I never buy clothes at target, it was an emergency shopping run, but I was pleasantly surprised to find so many that I liked. |
Just ordered the purple version. Not OP. |
This is crazy. I am not wearing leggings on the beach. Who wants sand stuck between their leggings and legs all day? Absolutely not. It is the beach! One can wear a bikini and show an imperfect body. You are a prude if you are wearing leggings on the beach and in the previous part of your comment shaming 98% of people who "look terrible" according to you. The women you are shaming for feeling uncomfortable in their swimsuits are uncomfortable because of people like YOU watching them and judging. One does not have to have a body that you deem acceptable to be eligible to wear a bikini or short shorts. Get over yourself and stop being so judgy. |
No 48-year old should be wearing "short shorties" to the gym or anywhere else. I don't care how exceptional their shape is. Seems contradictory to me that you'd dress like that at the gym but cover yourself to your toes at the beach. |
NP. Agree; but the PPP is still correct that most teens and women don't actually look "Good" in their tiny bikinis. Just because you can or want to doesn't mean it's flattering. |
The prints at Seafolly are less horrible than elsewhere. https://us.seafolly.com/collections/one-piece-swim |
