PP, you're calling OP an idiot for pointing out that when admissions personnel can see which applicants are applying for financial aid, then they can't legitimately say they are "blind" as to need? OP's observation is spot-on. Seems like you're the one who's the idiot. And injecting "MAGA" into a thread which had nothing to do with politics? I agree with OP's assessment.

I also would gently suggest that there is nothing about the US college admissions process that I would consider "fair". It is one of the strangest things in the world.
