What about Wash U? Says they gives academic scholarships—not sure how much. Washington and Lee? Sewanee? Georgetown?

Georgetown does not give scholarships for football. The D3 schools might have merit, but I would think that merit from WashU and probably Washington and Lee would be extremely competitive.

How about for XC/track a junior male athlete running 4:20 1600, 15:30 for XC, 4.0 uw, 1570 SAT's?

Both times are too slow for the Ivies. You can google this

I know a current Ivy football recruit and there is no scholarship money.


I think what they might have meant is that you don't have to be very good to be an Ivy recruit in football. That is true.


Yes, that is what I meant. There are some sports where Ivies are competing for athletes with top D1 schools, like swimming and lacrosse. But football is not at the same level.
