cancer research is waste - but a $92 million military parade...

I think a military parade as it sounds would be wasteful and I hate Trump, but this article makes it seem less grandiose and still in the early stages of discussion.

Cancer research is best done in the private sector.

Better yet show up with protest signs.

No one should show up at all. Nobody. Not one person.

How do you feel about military parades featuring the president? We’ve never had anything like it. Do you think that’s a good use of taxpayer money?

You could probably go through $92 million in a few days of air defense, rocket artillery, or aviation live training. War is expensive. I'm sure the war in Ukraine goes through that every day. Should probably avoid war if possible. And definitely don't waste those resources on a parade.

I think it's a great idea.

More to the point: because it pisses you off, we should have a parade every damned day!

Do you complain about “big Pharma” with that mouth?

The cost to run the federal government is $17.5 BILLION/day, 365 days a year.

🤣

I thought all the best cancer research was done while smoking cigarettes in the Philip Morris parking lot?

One side of their mouth criticizes pharmaceutical companies. The other side criticizes public health.

Jesus, just say that you don’t know the first thing about research.

It’s a bit odd to want to piss off complete strangers on an anonymous website, don’t you think? Some real anger issues there…

Well, cancer research doesn't do anything for Trump personally, so...

He’s a malignant narcissist - of course he’s blind to that.

Not to mention that he clearly doesn't know what it is going on.

I don't just mean the budding dementia. I mean that he is not following the news: "didn't we win that ruling, 9 to 0?" "it says MS-13 on his fingers" "all those polls are FAKE NEWS." He is fed an occasional snippet of reality and does not know or care about the rest. How many times has he (shamelessly!) said in a press conference that he doesn't have any comment about a subject because he is clearly just hearing about it now? It is no one's job to let Trump know what is happening or what people actually think.
