Why aren't people listening to Michelle Obama's podcast?

It is not about race. Plenty of people of color have quite successful podcasts.
It is simply a boring podcast.

Good podcasters ask good questions and interview interesting people. This is not that.

And why are so many podcasts led by a celeb plus one of their family members? Weird.

I wish the Obamas would use their platform to defend our democracy and rule of law rather than riff on nonsense or their feelings on podcasts.

SERIOUSLY. I discovered the other day that has been deadbeat dad Brian Austin Green has a podcast with his not at all famous wife and nepo baby never was and “life coach” Randy Spelling! I love Michelle Obama, I loved her book, and I listen to podcasts, but this space is really cluttered.

I didn’t know it existed. I don’t really like podcasts, I prefer to read. If she did a blog or column I’d read that.

I usually like her a lot in interviews. She clearly has a great relationship with her brother who seems like a sweet man. The problem is there isn't a fun podcast chemistry, though the love seems genuine. I don't think there is anything new I want to learn from her. I got it all from interviews in the past and I don't want her parenting advice. I feel like maybe she was meant to do something that requires more brainpower than chit chatting on a podcast.
