I'm OP. As I said in my opening post, my family is actively making long- and short-term plans to not be part of this. We are cancelling renovation, summer rental, saving money, researching international colleges for our older DC, applying for citizenship for DCs. We volunteered for the Harris campaign and for midterm candidates before that. We've been making small donations monthly to local non-profits and I take DCs to work our volunteer shift once a month.

No. I have never mentioned on this forum any of this work our family has done (since 2015) but someone asked me what I'm doing about it, so I answered honestly.

Very little of this is work though. Most don't have the luxury of canceling renovations and summer rentals they couldn't afford in the first place. College abroad is a luxury as well.
