Do all cleaners use harsh chemicals? I never did when I was vacuuming and changing linens and dusting. |
When does it become “unsafe”? |
No they don’t. It’s what some here use as an excuse to avoid having their kids do basic things in life. Gloves exist. So do masks. |
Cleaning a toilet???????? |
Nope, they spend time at home doing chores and time at school learning math. Their teachers teach them math, etc. I teach them how to mop floors. Their teachers do their job and I do mine. |
No you don’t. You are raising brats who are vaping in the bathroom so the rest of the kids can’t even go to pee. You are the problem. |
Cleaning a toilet is unsafe? So you are against kids cleaning school toilets? That’s the basic Q here. |
You are hilarious. If kids who do chores at home aren’t cleaning school toilets, they are delinquents who vape in the bathrooms? |
I thought you were saying it was unsafe. Sorry. Of course it’s perfectly safe to clean a toilet. |
Cleaning school toilets is a basic thing in life but OP can’t manage to get her DD to clean her own bathroom at home? |
Most kids in schools these days are menaces who have no respect for property. Why do you think school bathrooms are locked? If you are so clueless, visit a school. |
You are being purposefully obtuse. It’s not just about her kid. Of course it should start at home. |
Are your kids menaces? |
Unless they're unclogging an extremely clogged toilet or licking the toilet seat, cleaning a bathroom is hardly unsafe. If bathrooms are cleaned daily (or multiple times a day), you don't even need harsh chemicals most of the time. And your kid will probably inhale/swallow more fecal matter when they flush a toilet or use the hand dryer of a bathroom that kids don't help to clean on a regular basis. |
No. And if they were told to clean at school they’d do it without hesitation. |
