Eagle Scout Project Issue

Anonymous
I wanted to send an update. My son was able to find a project and he has now completed everything and he is an Eagle Scout. It was hard, but so worth it and I am super proud of his effort to finish his scouting career before he heads off to college. Thank you again to all who were so supportive in this thread.

Culpepper gardens in arlington was looking for donations for the elderly who live there. Maybe organize something for them? I don't really know what an eagle project entails though.

Thanks for the update - what did he end up doing for his project?

Ask your social media network for a raise of hands as to who is an Eagle Scout, or an old Girl Scout etc.

With that list, see if any recommend a local govt park (I didn’t see where you live, Fairfax parks, for example), or a non profit. Or even a business that has ties to the community.

See if you can work this through your network.

Congrats to him (and his parents). It is not an easy task. I watched several kids from my/my son's troop along the way. Some reached Eagle, but definitely not all. I'm proud of all those kids!

Don’t know if he is interested in building something but Great Falls Elementary School needs a new lending library. The door has broken off.
