Great schools mean a lot of great things for the county, I cluding an educated work force, a place businesses want to move to, etc. Thriving counties do not have crappy schools, and MCPS has always been 50% of the budget - this is not new information

Batteries don’t work very well in the cold. And, the heat used to heat the inside of the bus runs off the same battery used to power the bus, so discharges faster. This is fine for an individual car owner (just recharge more), but a bus has to run a daily consistent schedule.
