Neither believes Trump wants to be Hitler, a Nazi, nor a fascist nor that he is.

Both soundly criticized Kamala for her anti Trump rhetoric.

It’s undeniable that Trump has used fascist rhetoric. Whether he actually is a fascist is up for debate. I don’t think he’s literally a Nazi, but I think it’s very relevant that he appeals to White Christian Nationalists, Klansmen, neo Nazis, the Boogaloo Bois, the Three Percenters, the Proud Boys, and Q-Anon adherents. I also think it’s relevant that he is a convicted felon and surrounds himself with liars, conmen, grifters, and criminals. He’s been convicted of sexual assault. He’s earned himself a whole lot of negative rhetoric. It would be pretty weird for Harris to pretend he’s a normal candidate, well within the bounds of social norms.

I guess you have memory-holed all of the fascist things he did in his first term that were thwarted by his staff? And what do you call 1/6?

Cocaine trafficker who served federal time, of course

Well this is a great way to win over more Latinos.

Eric Adams wants a pardon. He’ll say anything to get it. Duh.

Trump cannot pardon NY State laws and prosecution.

Adams has been indicted for federal crimes, not state crimes.

What about Republican rhetoric in this direction?

The conversation about Trump's fascism has been driven by John Kelly, a lifelong Republican, decorated veteran, and Trump's own chief of staff. And while she doesn't use the "F-word" Liz Cheney repeatedly talks about the danger Trump poses to democracy. And there are many other Republicans who say similar.

The call is coming from inside the house.

Meanwhile, Trump calls Harris and other dems fascists all the time and no one in his party calls this dangerous rhetoric or calls for it to stop. And no one in Harris's own party calls her a fascist because... she's not.
