Ideas and actionable steps for a teacher to leave the classroom

I am a teacher with a kid in college. This is my 13th year teaching and my kid qualifies for a Pell Grant. I have a Master's and have enough credits that I'll earn a second Master's in a few years but I am apparently low income. The extra money is nice (although the college reduced his FA by the same amount so...) but teachers' kids shouldn't fall into the exceptional financial need category.
