Colorado College is already a difficult admit, not really a target/safety as OP was asking about. |

St. Olaf Lake Forest Puget Sound Furman |
They were making kids take flags down. Hard pass. |
Pitt-has rolling admissions |
| Just can’t think of any UC school as a hidden gem. |
What flags? |
|
An American flag and also the marine flag while allowing other flags for various groups
to stay up. This was in the news a few years back. You can search and decide if it is a good fit. |
+1 We visited a couple of years ago. Great place. If it was in the Northeast, instead of in Wisconsin, it would be a T10 impossible to get into college. |
+1 Have heard great things, and they're very strong financially. |
| university of Rochester-if it wasn’t in Rochester it would be a really a tough admit (but of course your kid has to be up for rough winters.) |
Trinity College not Trinity University in SA. |
| Elon. Not hidden but maybe overlooked? |
Gonzaga has a beautiful campus and location. Other Jesuit schools worth a look are Creighton and Santa Clara. I've heard Regis University in Denver is good for biological sciences. The University of Portland is not Jesuit but is also a good school. |
Not only the wrong college but these descriptions of the flags are inaccurate. It was a Gadsden Flag (not American flag) and Thin Blue Line variation (not military flag). At least get your facts straight! |
Lawrence University is lovely! A true hidden gem with so much to offer. The lakeside campus in Door County is beautiful, and Appleton is a perfect college town. |
