It is shameful that we have to vote for an incompetent demagogue if we want to avoid the orange monster.

Skip a primary for the presidential candidate and this is what you get.

Is it too late to get Joe back on the ballot?

Biden would be polling better than Harris if he were in the race.

False. the media would still be harping on how old he is and how his health had deteriorated (note, none of that now and he has given several interviews and press conferences in the intervening time)

They will never allow an unedited interview or a non-scripted speech from her. Never.
It would shock most people to really hear her speak without help.

And, what -- there were teleprompters in the courtroom during the trials she prosecuted?

Pathetic.

What trial did she prosecute?

Are you kidding?!! Do you really not know she was a career prosecutor before becoming DA?

Indeed these are difficult policy issues. Luckily Harris provided nuanced and coherent answers on aspects that need to be considered.

It’s true though, she did not say she would abandon the Palestinians or the Ukrainians and make everything magically go away. We need a smart thoughtful leader like Harris. Not a craven weak buffoon like Trump.

The interviewer asked about her flip flopping and she gave some bs answer about traveling the country and finding consensus.

The interviewer asked if opening the borders was a mistake and she blamed Congress.

The interviewer asked about her plans to strengthen the economy and had to ask twice "how are you going to pay for that?" and "we are dealing with the real world"

She claimed she is a "capitalist" - LOL! She uses 20 words when 5 will do. And wow she looked exhausted.

Wouldn't you if you were her? You wouldnt know a damn thing sitting behind a screen. Yawn.

So more of the same, ineffectual policy?

She gave answers on both Israel and Ukraine.

She stand with the Israeli people, steadfast in its defense and right to exist. She also wants the war to be over, the hostages returned and both sides working towards a two state solution. If you watched the interview, you can tell she doesn't trust Netanyahu.

On Ukraine, she was steadfast in Ukraine's defense and that Ukraine should have a seat at the table for any cease-fire negotiations. She deferred on the nATO question, because that was the "politik" thing to do. Of course she supports Ukraine in NATO, but you don't say that now and backtrack it as part of a negotiation if you have to.

Did you actually watch the interview or are you just repeating something someone posted on social media? Because her answers both on 60 Minutes and during the debate, were pretty straightforward.

If Biden was the candidate, his health issues would have been covered up, same as they were for years. He would be doing better in swing states than Harris.

I love months after this old white man dropped out. Republicans still insist on running against him.... I hate to break it to you, but the only mentally declining 80-year-old man still in this race is the Republican candidate... Democrats cleaned house and got a younger fresher ticket. How about you guys do the same?

Harris is nobody's first choice but compared to Trump and Biden, she is our only option. I just find it surprising that people can vote for incompetent and toxic men, even criminals but they'll judge a mediocre woman. Let's break this gender ceiling so we have a bigger pool of candidates in future elections. For how long we'll ignore half of the population and keep picking candidates from the other half?

I don't want to be partisan but I'm going to be partisan.

So let me ask did he vote for Hillary then since he thinks she was so qualified??
Anonymous
The double standards between Trump and Kamala are astoundingly clear... If anything it makes me want to vote for her even more because as a woman I've had to put up with this crap in my own job and it's time that we shut this stuff down..

I feel many are looking for excuses to sit this one out because they don't want to vote for a woman, specifically a half brown-half black, half Hindu-half Christian woman who is married to a Jewish man.
