Uh, seems like Trump's visit to the NABJ is not going well...

She is Indian. She is also black. What do Republicans find confusing about that? I am Slovak. I am also Irish. I am also white.

I am not required to include all of those in every sentence.

He was trying really hard to avoid saying the n-word. Focused!

The panel interview started on a tense note, when ABC News reporter Rachel Scott asked Trump to explain why Black voters should support him despite a history of racist comments.

In response, Trump called the question "horrible," "hostile" and a "disgrace" and described ABC as a "fake" network. "I have been the best president for the Black population since Abraham Lincoln," he said.

I think he's so delusional he sincerely believes he's been "the best president for the Black population since Abraham Lincoln." Somehow I don't think that line will resonate with most Black people. Ditto his staple comments on "What do you have to lose?" and "Black jobs."

Well he also thinks he was the best president generally, and historians have voted him the worst.

So it is not like the man has ANY grip on reality.

The NABJ invite the leading candidates during the election year every presidential cycle. With that said, the NABJ should have foregone history and lost Trump's invitation this year.

NO - it’s great he was on it so we have yet more evidence of his awfulness, and on video! I was thinking this would be exactly how it played out. Kudos to whoever insisted on inviting him.

Speaking of delusional, is she black, South Indian, Jamaican or Asian Pacific?

All of the above. She is Black, specifically Jamaican. She is also API, specifically South Indian.

This works for most folks. I am European, specifically Slavic, specifically Polish, specifically Galician. It just depends on how far down you want to drill.

And to think, they could have nominated someone - ANYONE - but this boring weirdo

Trump showing up in person, looking like a damn fool, and then having to cut his questioning short is definitely worse.

None of this will move the needle. His racism (and that of his father) are well documented. His pronouncements are just catnip to the true MAGA believers.

He doesn't do well in front of non-MAGA people.

The staff that cut the interview short and yanked him off the stage certainly did.

And you think Biden is functioning as president gtfaoh

He is old but nothing close to Trump in terms of delusion or cognative decline.
