How Many Schools Did You Visit?

We have done 9 but 4 were in the Philly area. Very easy to visit schools when they are a couple of miles away from each other.

+1. So many schools. Also an easy drive to the Allentown area to visit Lehigh, Lafayette etc.

My daughter is a rising 4th year (if you know, you know) and I think it's very important to visit schools before submitting your applications. Even if your child thinks they know what they want, they should still see urban versus suburban versus remote, large, medium, and small, and base their list off of this. And, it's important, if possible to go during school being in session. Campuses look vastly different with a full load of students versus summer. Or, if you can't do that, visit in the summer and if they are still interested when it comes time to apply, go back and see it during fall or early spring semester. I think one of my coldest memories was being on the Boston College tour in January one year. I like cold and snow, my daughter doesn't, so she needed to experience what it would be like for months.
