Arlington: Illegal home fireworks July 4th

That store only sells VA-legal fireworks—meaning, fountains and other small novelties, nothing that launches or explodes.

WV has great fireworks. Half price this time of year, go get some and have a Sunday fireworks party.

I was at a July 6th party today in Leesburg and they had 'jousting trucks.' They were normal trucks with like 10 roman candles taped to the side. Very entertaing, not gonna lie.

It makes me smile to see people openly using fireworks in places where they’re banned. Because it tells me there’s still a spark of that rebellious nature that created this country.

Nothing more American than blowing up a child to spite your face.

Yes, OP was correct in being upset. Errant illegal fireworks in Arlington ruined that business. They are saying 250k in damages but that just to the building!

“Pretty much my whole shop is burned out,” owner Milan Cukalovic told ARLnow this afternoon.

Cukalovic said there were kids lighting off fireworks behind the building before the fire broke out. No vehicles were inside the garage at the time but a number of expensive tools and machines were destroyed. He’s now working through the insurance process and hopes to get fully reimbursed for the losses.

“Hopefully we can get back on our feet as soon as possible,” he said.
