Was this Target return in poor taste?

I have never heard that “toiletries“ cannot be restocked!

Yes a waste of perfectly good products and a huge waste of your time.

Do better.

What? You don’t return things that you don’t use?

There's a book I read that describes all the effort we put into things. It's like part time job. I cut my spending down about 70%. Life got so much easier.

What book?

Your friend definitely was rude!

Seriously … we all make mistakes but the fact that you could not think to donate or swallow the loss . No words

She didn’t know they toss them! Neither did I. Makes total sense to return if you don’t know that. If this incident has you lost for words you must live a very sheltered life.

It wasn't $15 was it? More like $4 or $5?

A good idea would have been to donate the toiletries to a local charity - possibly a women’s shelter.

Or like another poster suggested > since they were under $20, just stash them away for your next trip.

Or the next time you have houseguests over, you can put them out for them. 🧴

So recently I bought the wrong type of pads for my daughter. I returned them and bought the correct ones. Never opened, still sealed. Did Target toss these??

Why wouldn't you keep them for your next trip?
Anonymous
Yes you were wrong and cheap. Are you never going to travel again?

Would you want to buy a mini tube of toothpaste someone already bought and returned?

Neither are the bottles in the showers of lower end hotels. So what?
