You are seriously comparing Italians to Americans? |
Presumably PP is refuting the point about white men not being able to pull off the look. Italians are white. |
PP here. You make a good point of how one feels in the state of dress, is of the utmost importance. You're such a tease...I would be a puddle on the ground. That's my kryptonite. |
One of the partners at my work dresses like that- AND has a British accent. Swoon. |
|
Not the Southern ones, which is why they look good in the turtleneck/wool coat. Olive-skinned, dark hair, smoldering eyes. Raoul Bova comes to mind. No offense to the suburban, middle-aged, white guy, but they just can't pull that look off. |
| I love a man in a well tailored suit. |
|
Uh…yeah. Southern Italians are still white people. |
Aren’t they Latino? Latium -> Latin -> Latino
|
No one in dc really has “good tailoring” outside of the Japanese and certain euro diplomatic missions |

Any man in a well fitted outfit: suit, button down, sweater, whatever. A nice suit can elevate a pudgy mediocre looking man.
DH says a white linen dress I have is his favorite. It’s a very inadvertently sexy outfit, it’s just a simple dress that happens to make my body look very good. That’s what men like. |
If you think in terms of actual skin color, no. It's pretty obvious. If You think the actor I mentioned is as white as Conan O' Brien, get your eyes checked. Many Italians are olive-skinned and gorgeous. |
I had to look that word up. Women can make almost anything look good, but sundress is the only answer to this question. |

I’m so turned off by men in suits.
I declined so many second date invitations because the guy showed up for the first in a suit and I wasn’t attracted to him. One guy somehow convinced me to have a second date and he changed into something casual after work and it made all the difference. I ended up dating him for a year. I wonder now how many guys I might have found attractive if they hadn’t come straight from work. |
